Follow is a
state of mind.
Dogs are either leading or following — there is no in-between. When a person takes the pack-leader role, each dog naturally settles into a follower's calm, surrendered or open state.
Guarding and choosing switched off. Eyes and ears soften. The nervous system regulates through the amplification of the pack.
Dogs are meant to be of one mind within a group.
